Deprivation of the rights
Abdul Ghafoor Saidiani
Justice is the core beauty of a society, it provides balance and equality to the human environment and it’s also mandatory for the society of animals and plants because without justice the development and prosperity of that society get compromised and development converts to the distraction.
It happens when the few are preferred and general body of the society is ignored. And it causes the deprivation of the rights which is a fetal poison to the environment and the biggest hurdle to the development of the society.
If we discuss it practically then there is no need to give examples from the international world, all this is happening very near to us in the biggest part of the country we live. Yes it’s so, everyone knows that Baluchistan is the largest province of Pakistan by landmark. It covers more than 44% of Pakistan by land. But it’s sad to say that it has been ignored from the day first. The complaint from the people of Balochistan is absolutely correct because they have been rejected from every side, except being looted from both sides, means government of Pakistan ignored them and local nawabs and Sardars depressed them and used their resources and wealth according to their own will. All the areas are badly damaged and development ratio is very low, but in the area where tribalism is present are most backward and downtrodden like Dera Bugti, kohlu and many other places.
The situation is worst in Dera Bugti. Four gass companies have been working in Dera Bugti for more than a half century but people are living in stone age still.
The gass which is the native products of land of the Dera Bugti,. But the people of Dera Bugti and other districts of Balochistan have no right to use this product which we can say the birthright of the Baloch nation. The situation of the people and their lives can’t be explained in words. Now in the recent flood crisis people of Dera Bugti have been ignored from being provided with the facility of protection and safety. There is no proper gass, electricity, water, health and education facilities and planning. Same is the case in the other districts of Balochistan like Kohlu, Chaghi and Lasbela. All these districts are brimful of natural resources. Coal mines are present in Kohlu but this is the unfortunate district with least education ratio in the country . If we discuss about Chaghi, the district with largest land area as compared to the all other districts in Pakistan and it borders with neighbor countries like Afghanistan and Iran.
The Recodiq Gold mines are present in Chaghi but all types of deprivations are present in the region. The nuclear tests by the government of Pakistan was done in Chaghi in May, 28th 1998. Due to atomic radiations people are badly affected by fetal diseases like cancer and there is no cancer hospital in Chaghi to counter the disease.
Same is the condition of Lasbela. Lasbela district has largest zinc mines and this is also one of the least developed district of Balochistan.
It’s hard to discuss whole the problems of the largest province in a few single piece of writing .
It’s need of hours to promote the atmosphere of equality and it’s necessary to act upon 18th amendment for the proper development of Balochistan. Rule of law and implementation of the merit are must to the prosperity of Balochistan as well as for whole the country.
So government should take immediate response to create an environment of equality and just for the betterment and bright future of the deprived nations.
